1. West HS Band Concert is this Monday night at 7:00 and 8:15 PM. Please attend to support your fellow band members. Extra credit is available!

2. Freshman Band Concert will be held this Tuesday, at 7:00 PM in the auditorium. All band students should arrive no later than 6:30. Concert dress is expected. The order of performance will be 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Period.

3. Keep practicing as exams are just around the corner! Your exam will be over all 12 major scales, from memory and will take place next week.

4. Have a safe and relaxing summer. I wish each and every one of you the best of luck next year as you continue to grow and improve as young musicians. You will certainly enjoy your time with the Lakota West High School Bands! It is with a heavy heart that I move "home" to become the director of bands at Perry High School. I have enjoyed every minute of my 2 years at Lakota. Please know that each one of you will be deeply missed. It has been an honor to work with the students and parents of the Lakota Band Program for the past 2 years, and I wish you continued success in all of your future endeavors.
