As winner of the 2008 Boston Brass
National Concert Band Competition, Lakota West is pleased
to present an evening with the Boston
Brass and the Lakota West Symphonic Winds. The
first part of the concert features the Symphonic Winds,
including two pieces led by renowned conductor Dr.
Stan Michalski and performed with the Boston Brass.
After intermission, the Boston Brass take center stage
with the signature sound and energetic style that have
made them famous. The concert is hosted by the Lakota
West Upbeat Club and proceeds benefit the Lakota West
band program.
