Eric was a staff member for Zydeco in 2007 when the colorguard won the silver medal in Independent Open class and was very excited to return to the staff in 2008 as the rifle technician. Eric hopes to be a part of the Zydeco staff for several years to come. Eric is elated to be a part of the Lakota West Colorguard program and can not wait to watch the program grow over the next several years.

Alison Hunyady, Director

alimhun@aol.com

Alison Hunyady is the third director of the Lakota West colorguard. She graduated from Northmont High School in Clayton, Ohio. Alison attends the University of Dayton where she is studying Public Relations.

Alison began her marching career at Northmont where she participated in both their fall colorguard and winterguard programs. In 2005 Alison decided to further her marching career by becoming a performing member of The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps. She spun with The Cadets for four consecutive season and “aged-out” as the captain of the colorguard. Alison has also marched with Onyx World Guard for two seasons and is currently a member and captain of Zydeco colorguard. Alison is extremely excited to begin another successful season with Lakota West and happy she has found a welcoming program. It is her thought that this trio makes a great instructional staff not only because of their great history of colorguard experiences, but also because of their strong friendship.
